COUTHRemoteHMI is the Android application for you to access the
COUTHsmartbox control unit to control the COUTH® dot-peen and
scribe marking units from your tablet.
With it you can edit files modify parameters and control marking from your tablet.
Use the exact same functions as with the HMI COUTH Touchscreen and COUTH Keypad through your Android tablet.
USB WIFI adapter connected to control unit is requiered. Compatible devices:
- NETGEAR WNA3100M.
- LM006 WiFi Adapter from LM Technologies.
- NETIS WF2123.
Instructions:
- If you have several COUTHSmartbox control units assign a different IP address to each one. This can be done on the Communications screen accessible from the CONTROL PARAMETERS menu.
- With the control unit turned off insert a compatible WIFI-USB adapter into one of the front USB connectors of the equipment.
- Turn on the equipment and check that after a few seconds the LED of the WIFI-USB adapter stays on. This indicates that the control unit has successfully created a wireless network.
- On your Tablet connect to the wireless network created by the COUTHSmartbox control unit. The name of it will be SMARTBOX095 or similar. The last three digits correspond to the last three digits of the IP address assigned to the control unit. Having assigned a different IP address to each control unit each of these will create a wireless network with a unique name.
- Finally run COUTHRemoteHMI application on your Tablet.
