Nos complace ofreceros esta nueva versión móvil del Manual Práctico de Hematología Clínica. La finalidad del Manual siempre ha sido ayudar a resolver las dudas que se puedan presentar en la práctica clínica diaria y creemos que esta aplicación facilitará el lograrlo en una mayor proporción de consultas.

La presente versión 3.0 de la aplicación corresponde a la 6ª edición del manual impreso en papel. Como siempre pretendemos mantener actualizados todos los capítulos para lo que los autores han hecho un gran esfuerzo. Esperamos seguir disfrutando del interés que hasta ahora habéis demostrado por este manual (más de 50.000 aplicaciones actualmente activas) lo que sin duda es la principal motivación de nuestro trabajo y el de los autores de los diferentes capítulos. A todos ellos les queremos mostrar nuestro agradecimiento por su generoso esfuerzo. Asimismo estaremos muy atentos a los comentarios y sugerencias de los lectores para ayudarnos a seguir adelante con este proyecto en busca de la excelencia.

Como en la versión anterior el contenido de la aplicación está distribuido en secciones cada una con un listado de capítulos que se pueden abrir individualmente. Con 2 o 3 toques de pantalla se accede rápidamente a la información deseada. Además hay un buscador de palabras clave que lleva al capítulo correspondiente. La tecnología móvil nos permite también en cada capítulo incorporar otras funcionalidades como la toma de notas la consulta de abreviaturas la posibilidad de descarga en formato PDF para impresión o la opción de seleccionar los capítulos que se consultan con frecuencia para un acceso más rápido desde la pestaña "Favoritos".

Siempre ha sido nuestro deseo que la difusión del Manual Práctico de Hematología Clínica traspasase las fronteras de nuestro país y fuese usado en cualquier parte del mundo hispanohablante. Con esta app móvil las perspectivas de incrementar la difusión del manual en diversos países del continente americano son muy reales. Aprovechamos por ello para extender nuestro fraternal abrazo a nuestros colegas mexicanos centroamericanos y sudamericanos que siempre han expresado su interés por este Manual y nos han demostrado un especial afecto que por supuesto es correspondido.

Finalmente queremos manifestar nuestra gratitud a la Fundación Josep Carreras contra la leucemia y a AMGEN por habernos apoyado una vez más en la realización de este nuevo proyecto y a los desarrolladores de esta aplicación por su gran esfuerzo en plasmar toda la información en este formato para dispositivos móviles.

We are pleased to offer you this new mobile version of the Practical Manual of Clinical Hematology. The purpose of the Manual has always been to help resolve any doubts that may arise in daily clinical practice and we believe that this application will facilitate achieving it in a greater proportion of consultations.

This version 3.0 of the application corresponds to the 6th edition of the manual printed on paper. As always we intend to keep all the chapters updated for what the authors have made a great effort. We hope to continue enjoying the interest you have shown so far in this manual (more than 50000 applications currently active) which is undoubtedly the main motivation of our work and that of the authors of the different chapters. To all of them we want to show our gratitude for their generous effort. We will also be very attentive to the comments and suggestions of the readers to help us move forward with this project in search of excellence.

As in the previous version the content of the application is distributed in sections each with a list of chapters that can be opened individually. With 2 or 3 screen touches you quickly access the desired information. In addition there is a keyword search engine that leads to the corresponding chapter. Mobile technology also allows us to incorporate other features in each chapter such as note taking abbreviations consulting the possibility of downloading in PDF format for printing or the option to select the frequently consulted chapters for faster access from the "Favorites" tab.

It has always been our desire that the dissemination of the Practical Manual of Clinical Hematology would cross the borders of our country and be used anywhere in the Spanish-speaking world. With this mobile app the prospects of increasing the dissemination of the manual in various countries of the American continent are very real. We take advantage therefore to extend our fraternal embrace to our Mexican Central American and South American colleagues who have always expressed interest in this Manual and have shown us a special affection that of course is reciprocated.

Finally we want to express our gratitude to the Josep Carreras Foundation against leukemia and AMGEN for having supported us once again in the realization of this new project and to the developers of this application for their great effort in capturing all the information in this format for mobile devices.
