Scan for any nearby Mi Band or provide your Mi Band MAC address to find it straight away. The Mi Band Finder app will try to connect to your Mi Band via Bluetooth. To do so it is required to provide the Bluetooth MAC address of the Mi Band. Once connected to the Mi Band it will display the signal strength from it the higher the signal the closer is your Mi Band.

📖 Usage:
There are 2 simple steps to use the Mi Band Finder app:

First you need to provide the MAC address of the Mi Band you want to locate. This can be done in 2 different ways:

• Fill in the MAC address:
You can find the MAC address of your Mi Band inside the Mi Fit application. Open your Mi Fit app and click on the Profile tab under the My devices section click the Mi Band row. There you will be able to find the MAC address at the very bottom of the screen. Tip: Long-pressing on top of the "Bluetooth address" field copies the MAC address into the clipboard.

• Scan nearby devices:
Alternatively you can start the Scanner and wait for your Mi Band to be listed. Once you see it in the list just click on it and you are ready to go.

Finally with the correct MAC address in place click the "Find Mi Band" button and start moving slowly towards the area where the signal strength increases.

Known Mi Band limitations:
By default the Mi Band has some limitations that are worth being aware of fortunately all of them have a solution.
⚡ By default the Mi Band only allows one simultaneous phone or tablet connected to it.
This means that the Finder in the app will not be allowed to connect to your Mi Band if there is already another phone or tablet connected. This can be solved by disabling the "Pairing restriction" option in the Mi Fit app. Open your Mi Fit app and click on the Profile tabunder the My devices section click the Mi Band row and there you will be able to find the "Pairing restriction" option.
⚡ By default the Mi Band is not discoverable if there is a phone or tablet connected to it.
This means that the Scanner in the app will not be able to list your Mi Band if it is already connected to any phone or tablet. This can be solved by enabling the "Discoverable" option in the Mi Fit app. Open your Mi Fit app and click on the Profile tabunder the My devices section click the Mi Band row and there you will be able to find the "Discoverable" option.

Supported devices:
The official support is focused on the Xiaomi Mi Bands offering extra features to these models. However almost any Bluetooth device can be connected and searched for.
