How to use custom Icons:
Depends on your launcher[you require a custom launcher].Some launchers only support home screen icon editing while some allow app drawer editing along with it.

Long press icon on homescreen
Selection option like Edit or Edit Icon
Use the icon picker in the Edit menu to navigate to the icon you want to apply
