Converts Office documents CAD drawings emails scans and images into
searchable PDFs with OCR.
Container formats like for example: ZIP RAR 7Zip or EMail container such as MSG / EML which can contain multiple files and nested attachments are dissolved converted and combined into total PDFs with bookmarks.
Images and scans can be converted either through the iOCR (Tesseract / Google OCR) or alternatively through probably the best OCR engine from Abbyy into searchable PDFs.

PDF Stationery: Free selection of PDF stationery can be underlayed or overlayed. Even a temporary disabling of stationery is possible.
PDFMerge functionality - select multiple documents and use the "share" function to send them to the FileConverter - you will receive a merged PDF consisting all the selected and converted single files.
Non-Convertible document formats are ignored instead the placeholder pages are inserted automatically.

E-Mail to PDF conversion:
E-mail documents (MSG EML) are container formats include in any case the message (body) as well as optional attachments. The body can be in HTML TXT or RTF format. The app converts all of these formats extract metadata from the email and generates the header information (From Date / Time To CC subject attachments) for the first page of the PDF's.
Attachments can be email messages (MSG / EML) or any other document formats . This can create different nesting. Likewise emails also contain other documents such as containers (ZIP RAR or 7ZIP). These can in turn contain containers or also reflect Folder structures .
In the PDF conversion all these nestings are resolved the individual files are converted to PDF and combined to form a total PDF.
The original structure is generated as PDF Bookmarks. Existing Bookmark structures such as MS-Word or PDF documents are accepted. Also the folder structures from e.g. ZIP containers.
PDF/A Conversion:
All supported input formats (including existing PDFs) can be output in PDF/A (ISO standard) format for long-term archiving.
PDF / A-3b as the output format the original documents in the PDF are compressed embedded and therefore provide an ideal base for long-term archiving. The ISO standardized PDF / A-3 provides preview search and print option and in addition all documents in the original format are embedded in PDF and can be opened from there or be exported at any time.
The ZUGFeRD format is a special type of the PDF / A-3b format for electronic invoicing and contains the metadata of the PDF invoice embedded in an XML file.
