Search Anywhere allows searching for on-screen text inside other apps (*). Text elements containing matches are highlighted. Lists are automatically scrolled while searching. Unlock the Pro version to configure apps in which buttons or other clickable elements shall automatically be pressed while searching in order to expand or load more content. (*) Web browsers, web apps & web views cannot be searched. Several cross-platform apps such as Twitter or Instagram use web views and cannot be searched. If text matches are not highlighted it likely means the app uses a web view. Highlighting shows the entire text element, not individual words. Launch options The search box can be shown using these methods: • App icon • Notification • Google Now launcher gesture • Assist app (Android 6.0+, replaces Google Now launcher gesture) • Quick Settings tile (Android 6.0+, System UI Tuner enabled)
