Payam-e Doost radio started its broadcasting via internet on November 14 1999 and soon on April 21 2001 Payam-e Doost went on international shortwave radio to Iran and around the globe. This radio attempts to build friendships and understanding among the Iranians around the world through its programs. To that end programs feature Bahá'í and non- Bahá'í scholars and professionals who lend their expertise to discuss a range of topics from history to medicine and social activism as well as music and news reports on events from the Bahá'í world.
