When Noxarians started practicing magic another group was classified as wizards and they would use their magic to heal and keep their towns safe from any sickness. a lot of things changed for good. but some Wizards wanted more and more power and magic had a limit the energy provided by light was not enough.
They started using more energy from the shadows and gates to other dimensions were opened bringing the most evil creatures. Noxar became a world covered in darkness and the gods refused to interfere.
after years of war half of the world was destroyed and Noxarians begged the gods for mercy. They heard the call and would concede a last wish. Noxarians only wanted to live in peace not all of them failed and been forgotten would be unfair. The gods agreed but the sinners had to be punished so they decided to give the Fym to the loyals a crystal with enough power to keep them protected and bring back the light and the sinners were exiled and sent to Odem(a dimension where the dark souls are punished).
Since then Noxarians would have a new beginning But now the light would share the world with the darkness and the Fym had to be carefully protected being in the wrong hands would bring back the chaos.
The circle of exiled wizards known as the Gray society lived for years in Odem most of them were consumed by the darkness but the ones who lived became more powerful and would do anything to come back and destroy the world and the gods.
