Built for pipeliners and related industries by a pipeliner Torque Advisor not only lists the appropriate torquing sequence for flanges up to 52 holes but it also dictates the numbers to you using the Text-To-Speech feature on your Android-powered device. No looking back and forth between the torquing chart and the flange as you number the holes and it can be done quickly and easily by a single person. You can also adjust the delay between reading of the numbers to provide extra time to work your way around larger flanges.

You would use the app just like any torque sequence chart: Start numbering the holes or studs at one position and then work your way around (clockwise or counterclockwise) in the order presented. When ready to torque the studs follow the numbers as you go.

The app also contains recommended ft-lb torque values for various sizes of studs and lubricants. While these are generally similar from company to company yours may use slightly different values. While the torquing order is relatively standard you should check the torquing values in the app against your own guidelines.
