This app allows you to get actual Edge Lighting notifications from any app while your screen is off.

This app is designed for Samsung's S9 S10 Note 8 and Note 9 series.
I can't guarantee it will work with other Samsung devices (S7 Edge and S8 series) but you can give it a try.

The app will crash at startup with some ad blockers.

It won't work on non-Samsung devices unless they have a feature that works the same way as Samsung's Edge Lighting.
