영작연습은 마이코엔(www.myKoEn.com)에서 제공하는 앱으로 기본적으로 아래와 같은 기능을 제공한다.

1. 영작연습 - 한글을 보면서 영작을 연습한다.
2. 클릭영작 - 버튼 형식으로 나열된 영어 단어들을 선택하여 영작문을 완성한다.
3. 문장찾기 - 단어(한글 영어)를 입력하여 문장을 찾아 글쓰기나 회화에 활용한다.
4. 단어연습 - 단어에 대한 설명을 보고 단어를 맞추는 선다형 문제를 풀어본다. (유형1 유형2)
5. 영작노트 - 영작에 필수적인 문법과 단어의 활용을 연구한다.
6. 업무서신 - 여러 상황에서 이용할 수 있는 Business Letter 예문을 실어 실제 업무에 응용할 수 있도록 한다.
7. 영어회화 - 일상생활 속의 영어회화를 학습한다.

1. 영작연습은 한글을 보면서 영작연습을 해볼 수 있는 앱이다. 사용자는 전체 문장을 대상으로 연습을 할 수도 있으며 원하는 토픽과 원하는 단어수를 지정하여 해당하는 문장들만을 대상으로 영작문을 연습할 수도 있다. 제공되는 토픽과 단어수 옵션은 아래와 같다.

토픽: 모든토픽 가족생활 의식주 건강운동 계절날씨 학교교육 인문사회 자연 과학기술 쇼핑 취미 여행 시간 문화예술 Business Letter

단어수: 모든길이 1-5단어 6-10단어 11-15단어 16-20단어 21-25단어 26단어이상


2. 클릭영작은 영작문을 직접 입력하는 대신 버튼의 형태로 랜덤하게 배열된 단어들을 선택하여 영작문을 완성한다. 한 문장의 모든 단어를 랜덤하게 배열할 수도 있고 4단어씩 한 묶음으로 그 묶음 안에서 단어를 배열할 수도 있다.


3. 문장찾기는 사용자가 입력한 단어나 문자열이 들어가 있는 문장들을 한글과 영어로 보여줌으로써 일반 편지나 Business Letter를 작성하는데 이용될 수 있는 기능이다. 한글이나 영어를 모두 검색에 이용할 수 있으며 한글과 영어의 혼용도 가능하다. 사용자가 지하철 쇼핑 식당 호텔 school 등 필요한 단어를 입력하면 해당단어가 들어간 문장이 출력되어 영어회화가 필요한 자리에서 즉각적으로 예문들을 볼 수 있다.


4. 단어연습은 여러 시험에 필요한 단어들을 한글이나 영어로 된 설명을 보고 그에 해당하는 영어단어를 맞추는 선다형 문제를 제공한다. 이들 단어들은 TOEFL / TOEIC / GRE / 중학교필수단어 / 고등학교필수단어 / SAT(미국대입수능) / 시사상식 / 기타로 구분하여 또는 모두 모아 함께 연습할 수 있다.


5. 영작노트는 영작을 하면서 쉽게 틀릴 수 있는 단어들이 구문을 작은 항목으로 구분하여 작성한 작은 강의록으로 영작뿐만 아니라 전반적인 영어실력 함양에도 도움이 될 것이다.
