New! This app is a photo-realistic simulation of the "MR 610" the
most powerful scientific pocket calculator made in GDR (German
Democratic Republic / East Germany).
The app comprises numerous of frequently used functionalities.
The keys give optical (key color) acoustic (key sounds) and haptic (vibration of the device) feedback.
Furthermore the back and an interior view of the original calculator can be displayed (completely without function! 😀).
Compared to the original calculator only the frames around the entire device and around the display were reduced for reasons of space.
The "Calculator MR 610" was a pocket calculator with a liquid crystal display (LCD) which was manufactured since 1982 by "VEB Röhrenwerk Mühlhausen" part of the "VEB Kombinat Mikroelektronik" in Mühlhausen/Thuringia (GDR).
Features:
• Basic arithmetic operations: Addition subtraction multiplication division and the calculation of powers (The app behaves like the original pocket calculator and ignores the order of operations.)
• Square root cubic root square percent and reciprocal functions
• Calculations in parentheses
• Trigonometric functions: sine (sin) cosine (cos) tangent (tan) the corresponding inverse functions arcsine (arcsin) arccosine (arccos) and arctangent (arctan) and the hyperbolic functions hyperbolic sine (sinh) hyperbolic cosine (cosh) and hyperbolic tangent (tanh)
(Angles can be entered in degrees (DEG) radians (RAD) or gradian (gon) (GRD).)
• Logarithmic functions: Natural logarithm (ln) and commomn logarithm (lg) as well as their inverse functions (i.e. power to base e and 10 respectively)
• Conversion from polar to cartesian co-ordinates and vice versa
• Conversion from decimal degrees to degrees minutes and seconds and vice versa
• Statistical calculations: mean standard deviation sum of values sum of squares
• π (Pi)
• Factorial
• Memory functions
• Exponential representation
Operation notes:
• By tapping the display the displayed value is copied to the clipboard (and is available for further use in other apps).
• Swiping from the left edge to the inside the menu is displayed: Here you can find among other information the settings for the display color the sounds played by the app and the vibration.
