Martin Stendal fue un misionero evangelista nacido en Estados Unidos y criado en Colombia. Experto en idioma español e inglés estudió hebreo y produjo esta versión de la Biblia en idioma español.

Esta versión es notable por su fidelidad a los textos originales pero a la vez es una versión fácil de leer de lenguaje actual y comprensible para todos.
