Frustrated by standard UI for your Car Audio / Navigation system then this is for you.
You will need to be able to mirror your Android device to your Car screen.
The following free Apps (or similar) are recommended.

- Easy Connected (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.easyconn.carman.wws)
NB This needs to be installed on Device and Car system via SD Card

- Screen On (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.dieterthiess.keepiton)
This is used if despite everything your screen does not remain on using standard Android screen on functionality

- Rotation (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pranavpandey.rotation)
This is used if despite everything your screen does not remain in landscape mode using standard Android screen on functionality

You will also need to set Debug mode on within Developer settings on your device

I can assure you though everything above works perfectly for me on Android Oreo.

This App needs the KLWP PRO version (paid version)

The KLWP Preset is designed in landscape mode only for car screens and is not suitable for Portrait screens.

There is no guarantee that the preset will be suitable for all car screens.
It works perfectly well for the after market car unit I have (non-branded item).

Please do not rate poorly should this app not be suitable for you.
Many devices (pone and car screens may not be compatible).
