তাফসীর ইবনে কাসীর হচ্ছে কালজয়ী মুহাদ্দিস-মুফাসসির যুগশ্রেষ্ঠ মনীষী আল্লামা হাফীজ ইবনে কাসীরের একনিষ্ঠ নিরলস সাধনা ও অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রমের এক অমৃত ফসল। তাফসীর জগতে এ যে বহুল পঠিত সর্ববাদী সম্মত নির্ভরযোগ্য এক অনন্য সংযোজন ও অবিস্মরণীয় কীর্তি এতে সন্দেহ ও সংশয়ের কোন অবকাশ বিন্ধুমাত্র নেই। হাফিজ ইবনে কাসির এই প্রামাণ্য তথ্যবহুল সর্বজন গৃহীত ও বিস্তারিত তাফসীরের মাধ্যমে আরবী ভাষাভাষীদের জন্য পবিত্র কালামের সত্যিকারের রূপরেখা অতি স্বচ্ছ সাবলীল ভাষায় তুলে ধরেছেন তাঁর ক্ষুরধার বলিষ্ঠ লেখনীর মাধ্যমে। এসব কারণেই এর অনবদ্যতা ও শ্রেষ্ঠত্বকে সকল যুগের বিদগ্ধ মনীষীরা সমভাবে অকপটে এবং একবাক্যে স্বীকার করে নিয়েছেন। তাই এই পৃথিবীর প্রায় প্রতিটি মুসলিম অধ্যুষিত দেশে সকল ধর্মীয় প্রতিষ্ঠানের এমনকি ধর্মনিরপেক্ষ শিক্ষায়তনের গ্রন্থাগারেও সর্বত্রই এটি বহুল পঠিত সুপরিচিত সমাদৃত এবং হাদীস-সুন্নাহর আলোকে এক স্বতন্ত্র মর্যাদার অধিকারী।

প্রায় দেড় যুগ পরিশ্রমের পর ১৯৮৪ সালে ড. মুহাম্মাদ মুজীবুর রাহমান তাফসীরটির বাংলা অনুবাদ সম্পন্ন করেন। তাফসীরে ইবনে কাসীর মোট ৯টি বইয়ে এবং ১৮টি খন্ডে রচিত। তবে আমরা আপনাদের সুবিধারতে ১৮টি খন্ডে না সাজিয়ে কোরআনের ১১৪ টি সূরা আকারে সাজিয়েছি এবং সাথে সুরার আয়াহ সংখ্যা ও অবতীর্ণের স্থান উল্লেখ করেছি। তাফসীর খন্ডগুলিতে যে ইসরাঈলী রিওয়ায়াত এবং দুর্বল কিংবা যঈফ হাদীস রয়েছে তা বাছাই করে বাদ দেওয়া হয়েছে। প্রতিটি তাফসীর খন্ডে বিষয়বস্ত্তর উপর লক্ষ্য রেখে তাফসীরের বিভিন্ন শিরোনাম সংযোজন করা হয়েছে যাতে পাঠকবর্গের নির্দিষ্ট কোন বিষয়ের আলোচনা খুঁজে পেতে সুবিধা হয়। এ ছাড়া বর্ণিত হাদীসের সূত্র নম্বরগুলিও সংযোজন করা হয়েছে। কুরআনের কোন কোন শব্দ বাংলায় লেখা কিংবা উচ্চারণ সঠিক হয়না বিধায় তার আরাবী শব্দটিও পাশে লিখে দেয়া হয়েছে। তাফসির ইবনে কাসির বাংলা এটি মূলত আল কোরআন এর তাফসীর। তাফসির ইবনে কাসির এ কোরআনের ১১৪ টি সূরার ব্যাখ্যা দেওয়া হয়েছে।

After about one and a half years of work Dr. Muhammad Mujibur Rahman completed the Bengali translation of Tafsiri. Tafsir ibn Kasir has written a total of 3 books and three volumes. However for your convenience we have not arranged in 5 volumes in the form of 5 Surahs of the Qur'an as well as mentioning the number and the place of the Surah's ayah. The Israeli customs and weaknesses or the hadeeth hadiths in the commentary section have been selected and excluded. In each commentary section different headings of the commentary have been added with a focus on the subject matter so that readers can find a discussion of a particular topic. In addition the source numbers of the hadith mentioned have also been added. Since some words of the Qur'an are not written or pronounced correctly in Bangla their Arabic word is also written on the side. Tafsir ibn Qasir Bangla This is essentially the Tafsir of Al-Quran.
