Looking for a better way to DJ? Party Queue for Spotify turns your phone into a jukebox giving everyone the power to control the music.

With a Spotify Premium account you can host a party with the following features:
- Access to the entire Spotify library
- Requests are fairly ordered so that no one user can hog the queue
- Host can skip and remove songs
- Guests can remove their own songs

After hosting a party the host can share a link to the Web Interface with guests to get the party going. Guests do not need the app or a Spotify account to view the queue and add songs.


How does it work?

Party Queue works by transforming the host's device into a local web server. Guests on the same WiFi network are able to connect to the server. Our app provides multiple interfaces for guests to choose from - a web client (works on desktop and mobile) as well as the native iOS and Android apps. The iOS and Android apps use a discovery service known as Zeroconf to find the host's device on the network automatically.
