Tetrd is a simple tool that allows you to share your internet
connection from your android device to your PC and vice versa
through a USB cable.
Tethering
Tethering allows you to share your device's wifi or mobile internet connection with your PC. You can use this if your carrier doesn't allow tethering or if your device's built-in USB tethering cannot be used to share your wifi connection to your PC.
Reverse Tethering
Reverse tethering allows you to share your computer's internet connection with your android device. This can provide your device with a stable internet connection which is useful for latency-sensitive applications like online games and video calling. Reverse tethering can also be used in situations where wired internet is the only option.
Note: Some apps only check for wifi or cellular connectivity thus will not work when reverse tethering.
Network
When tethering or reverse tethering the PC along with all devices connected will be in the same network. The default network address is 10.0.3.1/24 and the default IP address of the host PC is 10.0.3.2. These can be changed in the server's network settings. By default the device IP address is generated automatically. You can set this manually from the mobile app.
Additional Features
• No root required
• No USB debugging required (except on Windows)
• Fast link speed (200Mbps+ on some devices)
• IPv6 support (may not work on some devices)
• Up to five devices can be connected
• Configurable network settings
