Calligraphy is etymologically derived from the word calligraphy. An
English word derived from the Latin word two parts namely "calios"
which means beautiful and "graph" which means writing. So it means
writing a beautiful calligraphy or character that dibentu-form and
enter the element of beauty. In Arabic it is called khat while in
the Great Dictionary of Indonesian calligraphy means the art of
beautiful writing with a pen. Function calligraphy in general ie
add more beauty to the room of worship such as a mosque or mosque
and other religious sites. Though calligraphy have roles and
functions for human life both individually and in sosial.Kaligrafi
is the cultural heritage of the past that can still be enjoyed
