Windlenot Adventures requires original Sierra' Shivers game data files to work. To play full version you need to own the game and trust me - it's worth it! :-) I recommend checking on-line stores or auctions for it. Alternatively try abandonware websites like http://www.myabandonware.com

Shivers demo installation:
1. Install Windlenot Adventures and launch it for the first time so it can create proper folder on your device storage.
2. On the displayed screen click 'Download' to automaticaly download and install official Shivers demo files and start playing!


Full game installation:
1. Install and launch Windlenot Adventures if you haven't done so already so it can create proper game data folder on your device.
2. The created folder or folder where the demo files are currently in is the place where you need to copy/overwrite original Shivers files. Files structure should form something like this:
+ WindlenotDataResmap.000
+ WindlenotDataRessci.000
+ WindlenotDataResource.sfx
+ WindlenotDataMovies*.vmd
(In order to play videos in the game you also need to copy the "Movies" folder along with it's content - the *.vmd files as listed above.)
Note: if you are unsure where to place the files use any Android file explorer to find correct location. ("WindlenotData" folder on sdcard)
3. Restart Windlenot Adventures and have fun.

Windlenot Adventures is an unofficial implementation of Sierra' Shivers engine created entirely from scratch.
The goal of the project is to bring this classic Sierra' gem to modern devices!

We start from public version 0.9.0 on Android. Note that the engine is by no means complete. We are hoping for some feedback from you and the will to stay with us a bit longer while it develops. Understand the hard work is done in our free time - and it's a lot of work.
