وهي عبارة عن بحث ضمنه المؤلف دراسة جاءت حول أسماء الله تعالى وما أودع في بحرها من الحكم واللطائف الإلهية، كما وفيها بيان الخواص أوائل القرآن والآيات البينات، وكشف عن الأسماء التي كان عيسى عليه السلام يحي من خلالها الأموات، إلى جانب هذا يكشف هذا الكتاب عن أسرار العرش المعنويات، وعن أعمال السيميا وجميع المقالات وعن استخدامات الحروف وخلواتها على الجمل والتفصيلات، وفيها أيضاً ذكر للأدعية المفردة المدعو بها في سائر الليالي والأوقات، وفيها كذلك تبيان لأسرار الحروف والاضمارات ولأحكام منازل القمر الثمانية والعشرين الفلكيات الخ

لما كان من ألد العلوم وأرقاها ، أشرف المقاصد وأسماها، علم أسرار الأسماء والحروف، إذ هو العلم الذي يطلع ممارسة على أسرار العوالم العلوية والسفلية ويشاهد الأرواح الروحانية، ويقدر على تحصيل ما يريده من الأمور كمعالجة الأمرض الصعبة البر التى يعجز الاطباء عنها كالفالج والجذام والعشق والجنون، وإنقاذ للمظلومين من أيدي الجبابرة، ورؤية الأشياء المتباعدة، وجلب البعيد، وإبعاد القريب الجمع بين المتنافرين ، وإظهار الخفيات وجلب المسرات ودفع للضرات وغير ذلك من الاغراض التى لا تحصى بعد، ولا تنتهي عند حد.
فجمعت هذا المختصر الصغير الحجم الكبير الفائدة ورتبته على مقدمة مقاصد وخاتمة (المقدمة) في بيان فضل هذا العلم وشروط ممارسته
