Best WiFi provides a simple widget that allows you to connect to
the WiFi router with the strongest signal. This can be useful if
you have multiple WiFi routers as your device may take a long time
to connect to the best signal by itself. The widget displays the
name of the router your device is currently connected to. Clicking
the widget will cause it to briefly display the networks within
range after which it will connect to the strongest source and then
close automatically.
It is also possible to configure whether to only to connect to previously saved networks or whether to connect to any open network. You can also configure whether saved networks should be preferred over unknown open networks even if the signal from the known network is weaker.
The app can also scan for the strongest signal in the background periodically e.g. every 15 minutes (disabled by default but can be enabled from settings).
