The application is operational as soon as it is installed and the setting parameters are minimal and intuitive.


RECOMMENDATIONS
• In order to be taken into account by Knock In Notifications the contacts in the Android address book must have at least a first name and a mobile phone number. Check this before the first launch of Knock In Notifications.
• Changes made to the address book via the Android Contacts applications after the first launch of Knock In Notifications require a new import.


DISPLAY OF VIP NOTIFICATIONS
• Viewing VIP notifications for emails received from Gmail and Outlook requires the user to enter the contact's "Email ID" field in the VIP contact details
• The user must ensure that notifications are activated in each of the applications concerned (SMS Whatsapp Gmail or Outlook)
• To optimize the filtering efficiency of Knock In Notifications’ notifications the user must adjust the volume of Android notifications to the minimum (Android 8: for each of the applications - SMS WhatsApp email - configure "no ring tone" for the notifications - Android 9 : "Notifications" slider). Thus VIP notifications only will be accompanied by an audible signal.
