The compass works by taking connection times from 4 different locations and then calculating in which direction the best connection came from. PLEASE NOTE THE RECEPTION COMPASS WILL NOT WORK IN AREAS WITH NO CONNECTION AND IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN THESE AREAS. It is best suited for areas which have a range of 1-4 bars but should still work with less accuracy in areas that have a similar connection in all 4 connection points.
