sketchometry ist dynamische Geometrie-Software die die ebene Geometrie im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes "begreifbar" macht. Durch einfaches Skizzieren (sketch) der gewünschten Objekte mit den Fingern oder einem Stift entstehen in sketchometry geometrische Konstruktionen. Die Software erkennt das gezeichnete Objekt und erstellt ein exaktes Bild. Um mathematische Zusammenhänge zu erforschen können die geometrische Objekte "in die Hand" genommen werden und beliebig gedreht und verändert werden. Die erstellten Konstruktionen werden lokal oder in der Cloud gespeichert. Export in HTML-Seiten oder interaktive E-Books ist möglich.

Das Programm sketchometry wird am Lehrstuhl für Mathematik und ihre Didaktik an der Universität Bayreuth entwickelt und ist kostenlos nutzbar.
