Агентам раздаются позывные у Шпиона позывного нет.
Задавая друг другу вопросы про позывные агенты пытаются вычислить шпиона по неточным ответам а шпион догадаться какие позывные у агентов и какое общее кодовое слово их объединяет. Охота на шпиона - основной смысл игры.

Calls are given to agents the Spy does not have a call sign.
When asking each other questions about callsigns agents try to figure out the spy from inaccurate answers and the spy guesses what callsigns the agents have and what common code word they have in common. Spy hunting is the main point of the game.
