Great Tafsirs is a non-profit application for the sciences of the holy Qur’an; where users from all around the world can effectively access a large database of Qur’anic Commentary (tafsir) for the most important and accredited Sunni Shi’ite and Sufi scholars in the Muslim world such as Al-Zamakhshiri Al-Tabari Al-Qurtubi Al-Razi and Ibn Kathir etc. The application covers the seven Islamic schools (madhabs): Shafi’i Hanafi Maliki Hanbali Ja’afari Zeidi and Ibadhi and does not adopt a certain school or support one without the other; as it aims at providing all relevant sciences and the users have the freedom to choose what they want without being directed to one.

It also provides access to several works of Qur’anic translations recitations and other essential resources of meanings syntax and revelation reasons etc. Moreover it provides an advanced user-friendly search engine that enables users to search for words and text within Qur’an.
