1. 스팸 전화번호 알림/무음/차단
광고 보이스 피싱 등의 스팸 전화번호로부터 전화 문자 메시지 수신 시 실시간 조회를 통해서 알림/무음/차단이 작동합니다. (단 문자 메시지는 알림만 가능합니다.)

2. 주의 전화번호 알림/무음/차단
스팸 신고가 없는 전화번호라 하더라도 활동성 및 유사번호 존재 여부에 따라서 '주의'를 표시하고 주의 단계에 따라서 무음/차단할 수 있습니다.

3. 중요/장소 전화번호 알림
고객센터 음식점 등의 중요/장소 전화번호를 알려주기 때문에 놓치지 않을 수 있습니다. (등록이 안된 경우에는 직접 등록을 할 수 있습니다.)

4. 오프라인 DB 무료 제공 (듀얼심 지원)
매일 자동 업데이트 되는 오프라인 DB를 통해서 (듀얼심에서도) 보다 효과적으로 스팸 전화번호를 차단할 수 있습니다. (Wi-Fi 상태에서만 업데이트도 가능합니다.)

5. 필수 기능만으로 가벼움
스팸 차단이라는 필수 기능만을 제공하므로 무겁지 않고 가볍게 사용이 가능합니다. 사용자가 필요하지도 않은 기능들은 추가하지 않았습니다.

차단 기능 미작동 관련 안내
안드로이드 O(8.0)를 포함한 이후 기종에서 '전화 차단 기능'이 되지 않으신다면 기기 설정에서 '소프트웨어 정보'의 '안드로이드 보안 패치 수준'이 2018년 4월 이후인지 확인해 주시길 바랍니다.

안드로이드 보안 패치 2018년 4월 버전부터 '전화 차단 기능'으로 사용하던 '전화 끊기 기능'의 접근 권한이 차단되었습니다. 더콜 뿐만 아니라 전화 차단 기능을 제공하던 모든 스팸 차단 앱에 영향이 있습니다.

제조사측에서는 관련 업데이트를 추후에 진행을 할 것이라는 얘기가 있습니다만 그 전까지는 안드로이드 M(6.0) 이상이라면 당분간 '무음 모드'를 사용해주시길 바랍니다.

'차단 설정'한 전화번호 역시 관련해서 차단이 되지 않기 때문에 빠른 시일 내에 해결책을 찾을 수 있도록 하겠습니다.

추가 안내 - 버전 1.10.0 부터 보안 패치로 인한 스팸 전화 차단은 무음으로 자동 대체됩니다. 차단 설정 및 스팸 전화 차단 설정 시에 차단 기능 사용 유무를 확인하실 수 있습니다.

추가 안내 - 버전 1.13.8 부터 안드로이드 P(9) 버전 1.13.9 부터 안드로이드 10(Q)은 새로운 권한 및 방식을 통한 전화 차단 기능을 지원합니다.

실시간 조회창 작동 지연 관련 안내
전화 수신 시 '실시간 조회창'의 작동이 너무 늦어 심지어 전화가 끝나고 난 뒤에 뜬다는 문의가 간혹 있습니다.

현재까지 발견한 원인으로는 '메모리 정리'를 한 직후에 작동이 늦음을 확인하였습니다. 전체 메모리가 정리가 되었기 때문에 다른 앱들의 구동과 맞물려서 속도가 느려지는 것으로 한번이라도 전화를 수발신하거나 (문자 알림을 사용할 경우) 문자를 수신하면 이후부터는 정상적인 속도로 작동합니다.

필수적인 경우가 아니라면 사용 중이신 메모리 정리 앱에서 더콜 앱을 제외해주시길 바랍니다.

추가 안내 - 삼성 갤럭시 시리즈 사용 시 '갤럭시 랩스' - '배터리 가디언'의 '자동 최적화'를 켤 경우 전화 수신 시 '실시간 조회창'이 전화가 끊어진 후 작동함을 확인했습니다.

'배터리 가디언'의 '자동 최적화'를 끄거나 '최적화 하지 않는 앱'에서 더콜 앱을 제외해주시길 바랍니다. (안드로이드 기본 시스템 설정의 '배터리 사용량 최적화'에서 더콜 앱을 이미 제외했다면 '배터리 가디언'의 앱 리스트에 더콜 앱이 보이지 않는 오류가 있으니 '배터리 사용량 최적화'에서 먼저 제외 해제 후 '배터리 가디언'에 다시 제외 추가하시면 됩니다.)

더콜 접근권한 안내
더콜은 최소한의 접근권한만을 요구합니다. (안드로이드 M(6.0) 이상일 경우) 해당 기능을 사용하기 위해서만 접근권한을 필요로 하며 허용하지 않아도 앱 사용이 가능합니다.

통화/SMS/주소록: 발신자 정보 확인 내역 표시

안드로이드 운영체제는 M(6.0) 버전부터 동의 방식이 크게 달라졌기 때문에 해당 스마트폰 내 소프트웨어 업데이트 기능을 이용하여 본인 스마트폰의 운영체제를 안드로이드 M(6.0) 이상으로 업그레이드할 수 있는지 확인하고 업그레이드 하시기 바랍니다. 또한 운영체제가 업그레이드 되더라도 기존 앱에서 동의한 접근권한이 바뀌지는 않기 때문에 접근권한을 다시 설정하기 위해서는 이미 설치한 앱을 삭제 후 재설치 해야 합니다.

1. Spam phone number notification/silence/block
When receiving calls or text messages from spam phone numbers such as advertisements and voice phishing notification/silence/blocking works through real-time inquiry. (However text messages can only be notified.)

2. Attention phone number notification/silence/block
Even if there is no spam report'Caution' is displayed depending on the activity and the existence of similar numbers and silence/blocking can be performed according to the level of caution.

3. Important/location phone number notification
You may not miss the phone number of important/places such as customer centers and restaurants. (If you are not registered you can register yourself.)

4. Offline DB free (dual sim support)
You can block spam phone numbers more effectively (even in Dual Sim) through an offline DB that is automatically updated every day. (Update is also possible only in Wi-Fi status.)

5. Light with only essential features
It provides only essential features of blocking spam so it is not heavy and can be used lightly. We didn't add features that the user didn't even need.

In the future we will continue to actively receive feedback from users add necessary functions quickly and become a more advanced The Call that catches errors immediately.

Information on non-operation of blocking function
If the'Call Blocking Function' does not work on models after including Android O (8.0) please check whether the'Android Security Patch Level' of'Software Information' in the device settings is after April 2018.

From the April 2018 version of the Android security patch access to the'Hang Up Function' which was used as the'Call Blocking function' has been blocked. It affects not only The Call but all spam blocking apps that provided call blocking features.

It is said that the manufacturer will proceed with the related update in the future but until then if you are Android M (6.0) or higher please use the'silent mode' for the time being.

Phone numbers that have been'blocked' are not blocked so we will find a solution as soon as possible.

Additional Notice-As of version 1.10.0 spam call blocking due to security patch is automatically replaced by silence. You can check whether or not the blocking function is used when blocking and blocking spam calls.

Additional Information-Android P(9) from version 1.13.8 and Android 10(Q) from version 1.13.9 support the call blocking function through new permissions and methods.

Notice on delay in real-time inquiry window operation
When receiving a call there are occasional inquiries that the'real-time inquiry window' is too late to operate even after the call is finished.

As the cause of the discovery so far it has been confirmed that the operation is slow immediately after'memory cleanup'. Since the entire memory has been cleared the speed is slowed down due to the operation of other apps. If you receive or receive a call at least once or receive a text (when using text notification) it will operate at a normal speed from then on.

If it is not essential please exclude The Call app from the memory cleaning app you are using.

Additional Information-When using the Samsung Galaxy series when'Galaxy Labs'-'Battery Guardian' is turned on'Auto Optimization' it has been confirmed that the'real-time inquiry window' works after the phone is disconnected when receiving a call.

Please turn off'Auto Optimization' of'Battery Guardian' or exclude The Call app from'Apps not optimized'. (If you have already excluded The Call app from'Battery Usage Optimization' of the Android basic system settings there is an error that the The Call app is not visible in the app list of'Battery Guardian'. You can add the exclude again.)

The Call Access Permission Guide
The Call only requires minimal access. (For Android M(6.0) or higher) Access rights are required only to use the function and you can use the app even if you do not allow it.

Call/SMS/Address Book: Check caller information display history

Since the Android operating system has changed greatly from the M (6.0) version please use the software update function in the smartphone to check if the operating system of your smartphone can be upgraded to Android M (6.0) or higher and then upgrade. Also even if the operating system is upgraded the access rights agreed to by the existing apps do not change so in order to re-establish access rights you need to delete and reinstall the app you have already installed.
