Universal Forwarder is a proxy application that manages connections
between clients on your Android device and remote services that may
be reachable in different ways depending on what network your
device is connected to. Service connections can be configured to
try multiple access mechanisms including port knocking and SOCKS.
It is particularly useful for transparent access to services behind
a firewall or Tor hidden services (using the Orbot app's SOCKS
proxy).
Permissions: Universal Forwarder requires the Photo/Media/Files permission for exporting and importing forwardings to/from files and for writing a debug log (when enabled in Settings). All files are written by default in the Download directory but the location can be changed in Settings if desired. It requires "run at startup" so you don't have to manually run it to start the forwarder service after boot and "full network access" for obvious reasons.
