The Sigur mobile terminal turns a standard Android device with NFC
into a mobile access point for registering entries in locations
where installing a stationary access control system is impossible
or inconvenient — such as offsite facilities corporate transport
construction sites conferences and other remote locations.
Hold a card pass or QR code near the mobile device — the information about the person will immediately appear on the screen and the entry will be automatically registered if access is allowed. Optionally you can manually sanction or reject the registration of the entry.
The app works both online through the Sigur server and offline: if there is no connection data is stored locally on the device and sent to the server once the connection is restored. The app supports Mifare cards via the built-in NFC module while other card formats can be used with a connected external reader.
